Homemade chocolate spread or Ornella's Nut*lla

Hello everyone,

I'm finally going to share my highly attended recipe (see the previous post)!

I made my homemade chocolate spread (well known in my family as "Ornella's nut*lla" :-) )

I took a lot of inspiration of here and  here.

It's actually pretty simple.

You will need:
-hazelnuts
-dark or milk chocolate
-icing sugar
-oil
-customized jar

You toast your hazelnuts first, for 5-10 minutes in a pre-heated oven at 200°.
While your hazelnuts are toasting you melt the dark or milk chocolate 'au bain-marie".
Once the hazelnuts are toasted, you take them out of the oven and let them cool a little bit.
Then you peel the hazelnuts and then you mix them in the food processor until you get a thick paste.
Add now the melted chocolate, sugar and oil until you get a liquid and smooth paste.
Put the mixture in a customized jar and let it cool down (you can put it in the fridge but not until the mixture has cooled down a little bit).

I will insert a picture of my homemade nutella, unfortunately the jar is already empty due to its succes!

Until the next recipe,

Ornella

Next post - Chocoholic breakfast paradise

Okay, so I do know I just posted my first post, but I think I might already have a recipe for you (héhéhé).
But, I will first have to try it out before to put it on the blog (oooohhhh).
I'm sure you are all enormously curious, but I can't tell you already what it is.
Because otherwise if it turns out badly, then you would be all extremely disappointed. But if I say nothing then you are also disappointed so I will give you some hints:

First of all it is dark,
it is sumptuous,
it's something you would probably spread on something,
it's something you eat for breakfast (or sneaky in the evening, when nobody is looking of course),
and it's preferable to not eat a whole jar of it at once :-)

So I let you with this five hints and if you have an idea make sure to leave a comment below, I would like to know if you have guessed.

Big kisses

Ornella

First post

Hello dear reader (readers, no I shouldn't be too optimistic),

welcome to my first ever blog Ornella In the Kitchen.

As the title may suppose, I will be a lot in the kitchen, but that's not a drama. In fact I really enjoy being in the kitchen and I particularly like to make desserts (hello there extra weight).

After have tested out those desserts my goal then is to post about it and eventually to give you the recipe of the exquisite dessert.

But enough words, let's start cooooooooooking!

Ornella

Ps. Excuse the bad English, I'm from Belgium and I already had to concentrate on learning three, yes three, different languages ;-).
